“We had a winter wedding with approx 100 guests at the venue and informal style seating inside plus a marquee outside for additional space. The old boathouse is steeped in history with quirky features throughout. It is a ready made venue where you can add as much or as little as you like as the character speaks for itself.
John was hugely accommodating and we were thrilled he could join us for a drink or two to celebrate with us! I would recommend this venue to anyone considering hosting an event, big or small, formal or informal. Thank you Commodores House”

Having the venue from Wednesday-Sunday allowed us to take our time decorating it without feeling rushed, and also gave us extra time to enjoy the views with friends and family whilst setting up! The venue needs so little decorating as the exposed brick walls, high ceilings and impressive sea views really speak for themselves, but there is also the flexibility to decorate the space as you like and really make it your own.  Thank you Commodores House for an unforgettable wedding.
